Nilus
(1957)
The Nilus was one of the simpler/cheaper Cirse projectors. It has the same rewind mechanism as the Astro. It was an absolute bestseller. It is not widely known that it is a Cirse projector (just like some other Cirse models) because most versions have no reference to Cirse on the projector.

The Nilus above is a rare version with the motor-lamp switch on the base instead of on the lamphouse. It has a Cirse badge on the lamphouse (not visible in this image).
