Oregon

(1961)

The Oregon was a more economic version of the earlier Missouri. It had belt-driven reel spindles and a brush motor whereas the Missouri had chain-driven reel spindles and an induction motor.

The Oregon has one unique feature that all other Cirse projectors lack: a push button on the top arm to stop the reel from slipping during rewind. The Oregon is one of the last classic style Cirse projectors. It was marketed around the same time as the Reno that followed soon after. They were marketed some four years after the Missouri, Nilus and CirseSound.
